The most common post is a scammer posing as a victim saying they found someone who is in Nigeria who wants to stop scammers and works to get victims their money back. We must let all our Facebook friends know what to watch out for. I was hurt and felt betrayed by her giving out this site for I Swear I think the Ed Steve has done a great job here to keep us protected and I praise them for it. Hope ones reading this understand "Do Not Give This Site To Your Scammers" They all work together. They then provide a email address that victims can contact to get their money back. He even said I was his soul mate, that he was in love with me. Live and learn, but he had a wonderful beauty about him. My guy had the same backstory: owned his own offshore drilling company and currently working on a project for Exxon Mobil which ends in February. I found him interesting at first – he was a friend of a friend on FB.I believe I screen most/all of the scammer posts before they appear in order to keep this a safe place for victims to communicate - anonymously if they wish. As his texts became longer it was evident he had broken English.That is why there is a delay from placing a post to it appearing live on the site so I can filter all potential scammers, trolls, abuse etc. I also have to say that I don’t understand what "playing" with them accomplishes. If you want to "play" try a board game or get another hobby. The last thing we wanted is to give them more leverage. As with others here he asked some odd questions, i.e., what did I eat for breakfast or what was I going to eat for lunch, did I want to come feed him.

I myself believe my scammer was scamming another and just took a chance to write saying that stuff even though his picture is on here and Tom Erol, but he used others names as I had written on that post. Im praying that people will use common sense and that God would expose them for the liers they are. His english wasn't the best, which I thought was strange for an engineer who was supposedly educated at Stanford University, but I forgave that because he said he was originally from Mexico City. He was very attentive, asked lots of questions and seemed genuinely interested in me. No friends showing but several women "liked" his comments. Not sure it is a good idea to tell them about this site. For everyone of us that got out without giving them anything but our time, we are the lucky ones. I just received a call from our local florist telling me that the gentleman with a Dutch or German accent placed the order.
The person who commented with this heading has the email address [email protected] I watched several You Tube Videos that actually show the real person's photo and the scammer's photo. Looks to me like there are very many of them in West Africa (Nigeria and Ghana), Russia and even the Philippines. I use to feel safe here but he was told about it and Threatened me for putting my story on here. I shut them down and these guys/gals that read Facebook are dangerous and I’ll just keep blocking but still would like to know if anyone knows of Craig Lisowski or Robin Marler Arelene.
I emailed you pics and you did not respond to my email or on this site confirming that you received my email. The link that Annie sent to her scammer may not be seen by many of them. There is also Scam Haters United that has videos and photos of the real men and the creatures that steal their identities. We all want to feel safe in telling our stories and sharing them and making friends with each other. They do laugh at us because they think we believe them. I want to see them all put out of business or put in jail. Thank You for feeling as I feel about Annie giving out the site to her scammer. Yes scammers are aware of this site and try to post on here. I come here for Comfort and read what other's went through. God Bless I'm not even sure how I ended up on this site but these stories are sounding all too familiar. I had the same experiences with my scammer and we even talked on regular phone calls. Actually became close, he was very caring, loving, but he always within a few days had a hardship of money, mostly for his phone as he was only alloted so much time.
This is trying to take advantage of victims again by charging a small [so they claim] fee for recovering their money - which is just another scam! He was born 5/7/60 & his photos (3) showed him as good looking with gray hair.
Others try to post saying that [name of scammer] is not a scammer, or they threaten me with voodoo or black magic if I don't remove the posts that reference them. His daughter was in a photo with him & had long blonde hair.
